Wine & Words by Watson in Southport town centre has unveiled its brand new window art – which celebrates the forthcoming Southport Flower Show and Southport Air Show!
Local artist Caroline Ascroft from CA Interior Designs has returned to the stylish venue on Lord Street to create her latest work.
She was at Wine & Word by Watson last month to paint a special artwork on the window to promote The 154th Open Championship being played at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in the town.
Tens of thousands more visitors are due to arrive in town for Southport Flower Show at Victoria Park 20th-23rd August and Southport Air Show at Southport Beach 29th-30th August 2026.

“A brand new window, celebrating everything we love about Southport… and a very special milestone for us too!
“A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Caroline Ascroft from CA Interior Designs for bringing our latest window display to life.
“She has added beautiful blooms to celebrate the upcoming Southport Flower Show.
“Also on our window are the iconic Red Arrows, soaring across the sky ahead of the Southport Air Show.
“Also represented is our stunning coastline, a reminder of the place we’re proud to call home.
“I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to every single one of you as we approach our first birthday next weekend.
“What started as a dream has become so much more than a wine bar, coffee shop and bookshop. It’s become a place where friendships have formed, stories have been shared, celebrations have been held, and our wonderful community has gathered.
“As we celebrate one year in business, we simply wanted our window to reflect the town that has supported us from day one.
