A family-friendly hair salon and beauty therapy venue in Southport wants to say thank you to everyone who works in our NHS.

House of Mojos, situated on Cambridge Road, next to Churchtown Lights, has just launched a special 10% off offer for all the doctors, nurses, medical staff, and everyone else who works in our health service, whether at Southport Hospital or Ormskirk Hospital or elsewhere.

Anyone who wants to claim their NHS discount should book directly with House of Mojos Senior Stylist Paul Harrison either through the House of Mojos website or by calling him on: 07943987459.

Paul said: “Everyone in the NHS does such an incredible job in such difficult circumstances. They did a remarkable job during the Covid pandemic, and are exceptional in the care they give to people 365 days a year.

“We just wanted to show our appreciation for all they do by giving them something back.

“We also offer a 10% off discount to the surrounding local businesses in Churchtown to help encourage community support.”

All staff at the modern and elegant House of Mojos salon are highly qualified and on hand to make you feel at ease, sit back and enjoy the relaxing ‘mojo’ experience.

“The name Mojos has been going since 2006, since I opened my first shop on Nevill Street in Southport.

“The word ‘Mojo’ means your inner confidence. It came from the Austin Powers movie.

“I was going to call my shop either Barber Girl or Mojos and put it to a public vote. Mojos won! Visiting us is all about getting your mojo back, so it’s the perfect name.”

Paul Harrison added: “We are looking for another stylist at the moment. We are also looking for a nail technician to come and join us. If anyone is interested we would love them to get in touch.”
