Hal Cruttenden will bring his Work In Progress tour to Southport Comedy Festival this Tuesday (5th October), with support from Helen Bauer. 

Multi award winning comedian Hal is one of the country’s best loved stand-ups with appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, The Royal Variety Performance Would I Lie To You, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice and The Apprentice: You’re Fired. He is one of the top stand-up comedians working in the UK today.

Hal presents a comedy rugby podcast with Dan Skinner called ‘Rugby Jubbly’, as well as hosting a new streaming show for Saracens Rugby Club, every Friday and Saturday called ‘The Huddle’. He’s also one of the most experienced and in demand hosts for corporate events in the country.

TV also includes ‘Richard Osman’s House of Games’ (BBC2), ‘Mock the Week’ (BBC2), ‘Guessable’ (Comedy Central), ‘Celebrity Mastermind’ (BBC1), ‘Celebrity Chase (ITV1), ‘The Wright Stuff’ (Channel 5), ‘Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live’ (BBC3), ‘The Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala’ (Channel 10 Australia), ‘Just For Laughs Gala’ (CBC Canada), and ‘Celebrity Tipping Point’ (ITV1).

He’s toured extensively in the UK and Ireland over the last eight years, he has also taken shows to the Montreal, Melbourne, and New Zealand comedy festivals and he’s recorded three stand-up specials for Next Up -‘Tough Luvvie’, ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’ and ‘Chubster’. Hal’s next tour, ‘It’s Best You Hear it From Me’ starts in 2022.

Hal will be joined by fast rising star Helen Bauer, who is an Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer Nominee 2019, BBC New Comedy Award Finalist 2018.
