A 28-year-old mum has tragically died, leaving behind five devastated children.
Her family has now set up a GoFundMe fundraising page to help with the associated costs of a funeral and supporting the children left behind in this difficult time.
Vicky Firth grew up in Southport and attended Greenbank High School, before moving to live in Liverpool.

Vicky’s Mum, Lynn Butterworth, said: “It is with a broken heart and a pain I never imagined I would have to
“I know that I am sharing the heartbreaking loss of my beautiful daughter.
“There are no words to describe what it feels like to lose your child. A piece of our family is missing, and our hearts are shattered. But through all of our grief, we are also thinking about her five children — five precious children who have lost their mum far too soon.

“Their lives have changed in an instant. They are now having to face a future without the love, guidance, hugs, and presence of their mother. As a family, we want to do everything possible to surround them with love and give them the security they need during this incredibly difficult time.
“We are asking for help because the financial responsibilities that come with such a heartbreaking loss are more than our family can manage alone. Donations will help with funeral and burial expenses, as well as providing for the children’s immediate needs and helping give them some stability as they learn how to live with this unimaginable loss.
“Every donation, no matter how small, will mean so much to our family. If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser and keep my daughter and her five children in your thoughts and prayers.
“My daughter may no longer be here to hold her children, watch them grow, and make memories with them, but her love will live on through each and every one of them.
“We cannot bring her back. We cannot take away their pain. But together, we can make sure her children are surrounded by love and never have to face this journey alone.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, donating, praying, and standing beside our family during the darkest time of our lives.
“Rest peacefully, my beautiful daughter. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever carried in our hearts.”
