Another three businesses are opening on Chapel Street in Southport town centre.
It is a further boost for the busy shopping street, which has already seen a number of previously vacant units filled in recent months.
Athena Healthcare Group has now opened its premises, between Tui travel agents and the EE mobile phone shop near Southport Train Station, while building work is currently taking place getting two further new ventures to open.
World Travel Lounge will open next to Hugo Lounge, underneath the Prestige Stay aparthotel complex in the former BHS building.
Workers are busy creating a new Tesco in the former Roman store at the entrance to Southport Railway Station.

It leaves only three units on Chapel Street yet to be filled, a healthy state the area hasn’t seen for many years.
These past few months have seen some significant investment in Southport, and Chapel Street is reaping the benefits of that.
There is more good news to come. The town is looking forward to seeing the completion of the Prestige Stay development on Chapel Street, the new Techedia HQ on Corporation and the new Enterprise Arcade on Eastbank Street.
This will undoubtedly attract even further investment into the area.

This summer saw the opening of One Below on Chapel Street closely followed by The Fragrance Shop, which saw the company opening its 200th store.
Sanjay Vadera, owner and CEO of The Fragrance Shop, said: “As a business founded and headquartered in the North West, it’s an added bonus that our 200th branded store opened in Southport, right here in the North West.
“We’re dedicated to continuing expanding our physical store presence, allowing The Fragrance Shop to deliver our passion, innovation and expertise and offer more jobs to local people to boost the economy.”

The Hugo Lounge cafe opened in October.
Hugo Lounge is owned by Ali Cakir, who has 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
He said: “We have had a really good response since we opened. People really like it here.
“This is a great spot to open a new restaurant. For me, Chapel Street is the best part of town to be in.
“The whole shopping centre is here, with lots of shoppers walking past, and many other businesses nearby.”
Three empty units remain on Chapel Street, with the former HMV, Tienne and Chase stores.
