Naked Peak celebrates opening brand new shop in Wayfarers Arcade in Southport

A stylish new shop selling organic and vegan candles and body products has opened in Southport town centre. 

Naked Peak, a local independent business owned by Linda Parsons, has opened inside the historic Wayfarers Arcade on Lord Street. 

The business, which also operates online, was previously situated inside Cambridge Walks nearby. 

This summer, Naked Peak also opened a concession inside the new Beales department store on Lord Street. 

Naked Peak has taken up two units inside Wayfarers Arcade, and is looking forward to moving into a third unit in the new year to stage workshops and other events. 

It is a further boost for Wayfarers Arcade, which this year has seen the opening of Beales department store and the Remedy at Beales cafe to add to the businesses already present. 

Wayfarers Arcade has a very festive feel this December with the landmark venue dressed in beautiful Christmas decorations, with a giant Christmas tree, and events including a Santa’s Grotto and a Frozen Grotto, run by Southport BID. Bookings are made via the Southport BID website. 

Linda Parson said: “At Naked Peak we create beautiful sustainable home fragrance products as well as organic and vegan body products including our ever popular lotions, washes, bath bombs and our bespoke gift sets.

“All our products are 100% vegan and organic and made with all natural waxes, oils and ethically sourced other materials. To help keep the footprint to a minimum we use recycled packaging and source all our materials within the UK only.

“We are all about creating a lifestyle for people.” 

Linda Parsons is enjoying seeing Naked Peak become a part of the Wayfarers Arcade shopping experience. 

She is looking forward to being able to grow her presence in the arcade, and to offer some workshops for people. 

She said: “We are going to expand in Wayfarers, which will allow us to offer workshops, which will offer the perfect morning, afternoon or evening out. 

“People will be able to come along and learn how to make things such as bath bombs, candles, and how to blend oils. 

“We have various packages available, which will be suitable for groups such as hen parties, birthdays, Christmas parties and more. 

“We have had a lot of interest already! 

“We have got a lot of new products arriving too, and work with a number of other local businesses. 

“We have got a lot of local artists displaying their works in our Naked Peak shop, including Julia Ramiss, who is creating a special commission which we will auction off for charity.”

Products on sale at Naked Peak include soy candles, hand and body washes, gift sets, reed diffusers and organic body. 

Founder Linda Parsons said: “I decided to create Naked Peak in 2019. My aim is to help share eco-friendly alternatives to help us live more sustainable and natural lifestyles.

“Candles and diffusers are a great way to bring comfort to the home.  We have a great range of bath and body products to bring that touch of serenity and luxury to your sanctuary as well.

“It became clear to me that a lot of mainstream companies use products that harm our environment. So I wanted to create hand-crafted candles / diffusers and body products to bring you the best of what mother nature can offer.”
