Christian said, “Emma and I are delighted to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Verite Fitness & Beauty! A decade for a local independent business like ours is such a huge milestone – we’re both so proud to have achieved this. It has been a big 10 years, in which we have also had three children together! Yves, 8; Fleur, 5; and Pierre, 6 months.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers, new and old, some of whom have been coming to visit us for many years. Ten years ago, we decided to bring together fitness and beauty services under one roof, allowing people to look good and feel good. I used to work on cruise ships travelling around the world, where fitness and beauty were always together. It makes sense, but you rarely see it on the high street.

I can offer personal training programs that are designed to suit individuals while Emma provides a range of beauty treatments to both men and women. I offer one-to-one private training sessions, within a fully equipped gym that offers the facilities to deliver twelve-week programs.
It means that customers can come and find what they need that’s right for them. It is all about creating lifestyle changes for people and enabling them to feel healthier. We pride ourselves on giving people a really good, personal service that’s right for them.”
Verite Fitness & Beauty is at 9A Hoghton Street, right in the heart of Southport town centre. It’s right next to the busy Chapel Street shopping centre, is close to several bus stops and Southport Train Station, and has lots of parking nearby. On the ground floor are Christian’s gym facilities with a range of equipment available. At the front, Emma has space for her nail bar, while there are treatment rooms on the first floor which offer a variety of beauty services.
Emma said, “Ten years ago, we were both working in other places. We thought it was a great opportunity to join together and start a new business ourselves. We really wanted to get our own place. We have been on our current site for the past two years. I am glad we did – it has been a huge success! We have worked hard to build our business. It has worked mainly through word of mouth and through customer recommendations. Lots of people in Southport and beyond know what we can offer.”
