Details have been announced for the 2025 Sefton Pride march and celebration.
The parade has taken place in Southport for the past two years.
This year it will be held in Bootle town centre, with supporting events taking place in Bootle, Southport and across the borough.
People are being asked to meet at Bootle Town Hall at 11am on Saturday 14th June 2025.
The march will then set off at 11.30am.
The Main Event will be at the new Salt & Tar events space in Bootle (next to The Strand shopping centre) between 12pm and 8pm. All are welcome!
It is organised by the Sefton Pride CIC with support from sponsors including Curlett Jones Estates Acorn Insurance & Fletchers Solicitors.

You can enjoy: hosts; stalls; singers; community performers; DJ; food vendors; bar; band; science; and a quiet zone.
Some of the headline acts have begun to be introduced.
They include international singing superstar, Patrick Saint James.

Victoria Jones, born in Bootle, has taken her Kylie Minogue tribute act to stages all around the world, even appearing on TV – and was voted Best Tribute to Kylie!
Now, she’s excited to be bringing the show to Sefton Pride.
Join her for an unforgettable celebration of Kylie’s greatest hits.
Sefton’s very own icon the very glam Pam Sandwich will be bringing vocals and laughs to Sefton Pride 2025.
This activist and entertainer ticks all the boxes – fierce and fine and committed to the community.

Jen Corcoran who runs Sefton Pride CIC said:
“As with previous years, we will meet, march and mingle following the same format. Our young people of the borough will lead our march.
“We are delighted to have our sponsors Curlett Jones Estates Acorn Insurance & Fletchers Solicitors back on board for another year – their generosity plus the community transition fund grant we applied for from Sefton Council (with support from Sefton Council for Voluntary Service – CVS ) means we can pay for a vibrant venue, top tech and awesome acts.
“We will focus on them and the good work they do over the coming weeks as well as announcing our line-up and it is a sizzler!
“This year the venue is the superb Salt and Tar (effectively meaning Sir Tom Jones was a warm-up act for our amazing performers!)

“Tech will be courtesy of Moonlight Events Ltd again – best in the business!
“Lock & Quay will be running the bar, another community focused decision!
“It is an opportunity to come together, support artists and show that love is love, and we are a safe space for all. We can’t wait to see you there!”
A number of supporting Pride Month events will also be taking place throughout the borough. They include:
