People are being urged to help find a man who went missing from his home in Southport last night.
Officers say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” over the whereabouts of Edward Smith.
A Sefton Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information to help find a man who is missing from home in Sefton.
“43-year-old Edward Smith was last seen at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 9 April in the Lord Street area of Southport.
“He is described as a white male, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with short brown hair and blue eyes.
“When last seen, he was wearing a light brown tan coloured coat with a black hooded top underneath, light blue jeans and grey and white Adidas trainers.
“He is known to frequent areas of Bootle and Southport.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Edward’s whereabouts and Edward, or anyone who has seen him, is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or @missingpeople on 116 000.https://crowd.in/9m4lec”
