Speaking on the musical fireworks social media posts, Alastair Carter said: “All the competitors were amazing this year although Monumental Fireworks were my favourite. Their display was consistently awesome.
“I also enjoyed the flames at the end of the Sonic Fireworks display. It must have been hard to pick a winner. Such a great weekend … thanks to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic show .”
Lea_sam 78 said: “Some of the others had great endings but Monumental was one of the best overall displays I’ve ever seen.”
Sockstocks said: “Monumental were monumental!! Loved them, well deserved. It was my first time going to the championship and it was amazing. Will be visiting every year!!”
Lelourens said: “We thought Monumental would be hard to beat after watching their amazing performance on Saturday night but we all absolutely blown away by the Paint it Black ending from Sonic, it was unreal.”
Alison Wallwork said: “Monumental Fireworks were my winner too! Well done to all. Special mention to Flashpoint Fireworks dealing with the person in the wrong place at the wrong time and having to pause their firing!”
Tom Starkey said: “Fire Monkey really did blow it out of the water with music choice and the synchronization.”
Darran Clarke said: “Many thanks to everyone that makes this event a huge success. Our 2nd year for both nights, every display had something different ( the fireworks off the crane worked very well) each one was superb, happy with the results as its exactly as we had voted too.
“Roll on next year.”
There was plenty for families to enjoy before the fireworks displays started at 8pm each night.
Gates opened at 5.30pm, with visitors able to enjoy live music on the bandstand, family activities, street food, sweet treats and refreshments.
The British Musical Fireworks Championship isn’t just any fireworks display, it’s a pyro- musical competition, where fireworks are choreographed perfectly to music, creating an unforgettable experience. Expect some of the most breathtaking displays you’ll ever witness, where every explosion is timed to perfection.
