KC Workwear Ltd, which is based in Birkdale, has been busy producing social distancing signage and other measures for shops and other businesses are ready to trade safely.
And they are also helping customers step outside with confidence too, making a range of embroidered face masks. The washable face masks are anti-microbial and water-repellent.
The family-run business has earned a reputation for supplying businesses, individuals and school and sports teams throughout the UK in various areas of product decoration. This includes embroidery and printing on clothing and a host of other products.

The KC Workwear product range varies from workwear, team kits and workwear, events clothing, banners and signs, correx boards, metal signs, flags, gazebos, stickers, paper, table cloths, pennants and an extensive range of promotional goods.
These days staff are busy delivering social distancing signage which helps towards shops reopening with the correct measures in place as we enter ‘the new normal’, following nine weeks of lockdown since the coronavirus outbreak in the UK began.
From Monday, (June 1), car showrooms and outdoor markets will finally be allowed to reopen. These will be followed two weeks later (June 15) by non-essential shops and other businesses.
Firms such as restaurants, bars, hairdressers and hotels are also looking to get the appropriate measures in place before they open either later this June or in July.
KC Workwear owner Clive Lord said: “We are getting requests for all sorts of things at the moment.
“We are producing a lot of orders for face masks, which our customers can choose to have personalised.
“I have one which says ‘if you can read this, you are too close’.

“I have provided others which have the Liver birds on.
“We are also getting lots of requests from businesses which want to get social distancing signs in place, schools as well.
“Schools are really getting themselves ready to go back at the moment.”
KC Workwear is based on Liverpool Road in Birkdale, near the Mercedes car showroom. While many of the long-standing customers are from the local area, they do also fulfil orders from across the UK.
Clive Lord said: “We are very much a local business in Southport. I would say around 90% of our customers are local, but we do have others across the country we mainly attract through recommendations and word of mouth.”
