Sandgrounder Radio has a super relationship with the team at Southport Football Club and last night we sent our Commercial Director Sammi and her husband Paul along to the match to sample the club’s excellent hospitality facilities.
Sammi and Paul were blown away with the phenomenal hosting in the Bartercard Lounge.
“It was a really amazing evening that kicked off with a delicious two course meal followed by some exciting play as Southport faced the talented Kings Lynn team.
“The comfortable VIP stand gave us a super view of the action and the atmosphere in the stadium was electric.
“The ‘Yellows’ fans were singing, chanting and cheering along their team despite the chilly nip in the air.
“At half time we went back inside and the friendly catering team had our drinks ready and waiting (a nice cup of tea for me and a pint for Paul!) We had the opportunity to then pre-order for full time drinks and headed back outside to watch the second half.
“The match ended in a respectable 1-1 draw and we finished our evening feeling thoroughly entertained and happy.
“This is a really fantastic facility and perfect for staff rewards, corporate hospitality or even just a special treat for a friend or loved one.
“I don’t ‘do’ football normally but I am now totally converted – up the Yellows!”
