The final Southport Makers Market of the year takes place today (Sunday, 5th December).
Today’s event will be the biggest yet, after Sefton Council granted permission for it to expand from its usual Market Street home to also spread out onto King Street as well.
It starts at 11am and runs until 4pm, with people able to stay in town to enjoy this year’s Southport Charity Christmas Parade later.

The food stalls within Southport Market, which has undergone an eye-catching festive makeover, will also be open throughout today and this evening.
And shoppers can also enjoy many fine independent shops and cafes in the Southport Market Quarter including Bernadette’s, which this week celebrated its first birthday in its Market Street location, and Season Coffee, Bar & Kitchen, which opened opposite Southport Market earlier this year.
A Southport Makers Market spokesperson said: “The incredible Southport Makers Market is back on Sunday with an awesome line up of superb artisans!
“Join us from 11am – 4pm on Market Street and Kings Street for the FINAL market of 2021
