As leaders in delivering service excellence in Health and Social care provision, Exceptional Care Ltd and Think Tank Academy were instantly drawn to ‘The Unsung Hero’ award at inaugural Pride of Sefton Awards which are taking place on 28th April 2023 .

Its powerful impact on the community, through the nominees’ selfless acts of bravery, compassion and humanity, is closely aligned to the organisation’s beliefs and values.

From humble beginnings, Exceptional Care, founded by Gillian Ashcroft,  is an award-winning, organically grown Residential Childcare Provider, with 10 successful care homes across the UK. Their uniqueness comes in the team’s first-hand care experience. They are experts by experience.

Gillian Ashcroft said:

“As experts in Health and Social Care, we know from personal experience, the dedication and life changing importance, that these award nominees bring to their communities.

“Due to our relationships through the training of employees and in the wider health and social care community, we come across an unsung hero every day as small things can make a big difference.

“As a sponsor of the Pride of Sefton Awards Unsung Hero award, we aim to shine a light and honour these Sefton heroes but also to acknowledge those daily heroes throughout all communities, and say thank you, for all that they have achieved and are still achieving.
