A dental business in Ainsdale Village could be converted into a new wine bar

A dental laboratory in Ainsdale Village in Southport could be converted into a new wine bar, creating five new jobs.

A planning application has been submitted to Sefton Council to convert Denture Solutions at 104 Station Road in Ainsdale into a wine bar with an outside seating area.

The new venture would be situated next door to the iconic Grayson’s family bakers and confectioners.

Applicant Susan Upton is keen to bring the vacant premises back into use.

The new business would create three new full time jobs and two new part time jobs.

The premises would open between 10.30am and 11.30pm each day, including bank holidays and Sundays.

Plans have also been submitted for another new bar, on the other side of Station Road nearer to the railway station by a separate applicant.
