Community support is growing for The Big Cricket Club Walk fundraiser taking place in Southport this weekend.

People are invited to join the event, for either the full route or one of the legs, between four local cricket clubs this Sunday (13th September 2026).

The walk is part of Michelle Foster’s fundraising for Queenscourt Hospice ahead of her taking part in the annual Strictly fundraiser for the charity later this year.

The Business Development Manager for Bear Roofing will see ‘every step taken for Queenscourt Hospice’.

Guy and Clark Foster aged 10 and 6, who both play for Southport Trinity Under 11s, called into Queenscourt Hospice this week to pick up some collection buckets and share posters with details of the walk.
