Coffee King has successfully introduced an exciting new drinks concept to the Southport market, bringing fresh-to-order can-sealing technology to its Lord Street location.

The convenient lifestyle packaging allows customers to enjoy any cold drink in a convenient, sealed format – from classic iced coffees and soft drinks to more indulgent options.

Alongside this flexibility, Coffee King is showcasing a standout range of specialty beverages, including iced lattes, iced chocolate, and a selection of lifestyle and wellness-inspired drinks such as matcha, ube, beetroot and turmeric lattes.

These speciality drinks continue to grow in popularity with consumers seeking healthier, on-trend choices that complement busy, active lifestyles without compromising on flavour.

Each drink is freshly prepared using high-quality ingredients and sealed immediately to lock in freshness, taste, and temperature. The result is a convenient, ready-to-go beverage that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.

It’s perfect for golf fans attending The 154th Open Golf Championship, which takes place at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport 12th-19th July 2026, along with all many other events and days out people can enjoy in Southport.

This introduction forms part of Coffee King’s wider innovation strategy, focused on combining quality, convenience, and consumer wellbeing through new beverage concepts. Southport is leading the way for this initiative, with plans to expand the can-sealed offering across additional locations in the future.

Commenting on the launch, Somnath Saha, Managing Director of Coffee King, said:

“At Coffee King, we’re always looking for new ways to enhance convenience without compromising on quality. Our new, recyclable takeaway can, allows customers to enjoy any cold drink, while also highlighting our range of speciality and functional beverages.

“Whether it’s a classic iced coffee, a refreshing soft drink, or a matcha or turmeric latte, every drink is freshly prepared and sealed for maximum freshness. We’re proud to have introduced this concept to Southport and are excited by the strong customer response so far.”
