Businesses in Churchtown Village are inviting families to take part in a Crown Jewel Hunt to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III – with the chance to win a £250 cash prize.
King Charles has lost his jewels around the village. Can you find them?
You can collect a free Crown Jewel Hunt Map from one of the following businesses, you will need a pen or pencil:
Dorothy Mae Salon
RS Fine Chocolate
Churchtown Deli
The Dram Gift Shop
Angels Of Churchtown
The Garden Rooms
Churchtown Pet Boutique
Little Sparks
One side you will find a map of the village where the jewels can be found, the other side is where you can match each business with the jewels they have.
Match all the jewels and post your worksheet in the post box on the side of Dorothy Mae Salon – 53a Botanic Road.
All submissions will be added into the draw to be in with a chance to win £250 cash! Runner up prizes include vouchers and donated gifts from the village traders.

Final entries due by 8pm Sunday 7th May 2023 and the draw will be held Monday 8th May 2023. The winner will be contacted by phone and announced on Instagram and Facebook.

Churchtown Village is celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III this May with a special royal party.
The King’s Feast will take place on Botanic Road between 2pm and 8pm on Sunday 7th May 2023.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We have some amazing things planned to celebrate King Charles III Coronation!
“There will be a Royal Parade for anyone to take part!
“Dress up in your ‘regal outfits’ and parade with marching drum! Children, pets and yourselves to meet at St Cuthbert’s Church at 3pm!
“Royal Dog Show – bring your pooch to weave around the agility course, show off their best tricks and compete in Best in Show! Prizes to be won
“Crown Jewel Hunt – find the jewels hidden around the village and complete the crown to be in with a chance to win £250!
“Street Party – vibes with trestle tables, food, drink and live entertainment throughout the day!
“It’s set to be a day you won’t want to miss!
