Southport Comedy Festival paid partnership
While the dust has barely settled on a record-breaking 15th anniversary Southport Comedy Festival in association with Halliwell Jones Kia Southport, which welcomed more than 7,000 comedy fans over 17 days of laughter, organisers are already looking ahead to 2027 – revealing their first big-name announcement!
Following her fantastic appearance in 2025, the brilliant Deirdre O’Kane makes a welcome return to the Southport Comedy Festival with her brand-new show, All The Rage, on Saturday 9th October 2027.
Grabbing the zeitgeist once again, Ireland’s Queen of Comedy takes on a world that feels decidedly off-kilter in her brilliantly funny new show. From everyday domestic disasters to historic injustices, heartbreak and the annual festive fiasco of getting Christmas all wrong, nothing is sacred and no one is safe from Deirdre’s mischievous eye.
With her razor-sharp observations, infectious energy and fearless humour, she transforms life’s irritations, absurdities and outrageous moments into comedy gold.
TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS FRIDAY, 30TH OCTOBER 2026 AT 10AM!
A household name in Ireland and a world-class stand-up comedian, Deirdre has delighted audiences at some of the world’s most prestigious comedy festivals, including Edinburgh, Montreal and Melbourne, earning rave reviews along the way.
She’s also a familiar face on our screens, with appearances on The Deirdre O’Kane Show (Sky), Last One Laughing Ireland (Amazon), Gogglebox Ireland (Virgin), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC), QI (BBC) and Moone Boy (Sky).
