People are being invited by royal appointment to enjoy a free Comedy Bingo afternoon to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III!
Comedy Bingo is teaming up with Age Concern Liverpool and Sefton to host a Spring Social Coronation Special on Sunday 7th May 2023 at Southport Market.
Doors at the Extravaganza Space at the Market will open at 12pm with the show starting at 12.30pm and finishing at 3pm.
Funding for this unique event has been made possible through Sefton CVS and Sefton Council’s Tourism team.
It follows three successful Spring Socials which took place at Southport Market during March.
The audience will be able to enjoy a right regal get-together – while winning some top prizes!
Big Comedy Director Brendan Riley said: “We would love people to come and join us for this fun family event!
“Tickets are completely free thanks to Sefton CVS and Sefton Council Tourism team.
“This will be a great way to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
“People are welcome to dress up for the occasion! We’d like to see lots of crowns, tiaras, corgis, flags, and red white and blue!
“We can promise a lively atmosphere, putting some big smiles on people’s faces.
“The Spring Social Coronation Special is suitable for people of all ages whether it’s families, couples, elderly people, young people, people on their own, those who have recently moved into town.
“This is a very friendly and welcoming event. The Covid pandemic has been very tough on people and we are keen to do what we can to tackle isolation and loneliness.
