More people were rescued from Southport Beach yesterday by volunteers from Southport Lifeboat.
The group were cut off by the fast rising tide and were stranded until the rescue team arrived.
It has been an extremely busy few days by the crews from Southport Lifeboat, who rescued 40 people cut off from the incoming tide on Saturday, as well as reuniting missing children, and people on board dinghies who were floating out to sea.
The crews were called out at 6.34pm yesterday (Monday June 1).
A spokesman said: “Southport Lifeboat and Quads tasked to persons cut off by the incoming tide on Southport Beach.

“While the quads proceeded to the scene, the Heather White was readied and headed to the tideline. The quads arrived on scene and offered assistance to the casualties who were now in the water.
“After the casualties had safely exited the water, the quads proceeded down the tideline to offer safety advice to those in danger of also becoming cut off, while the lifeboat stood by ready for launch if required.
“After no further persons were deemed in danger of becoming cut off, both the boat and quad bikes headed back to the station to be made ready for service.
“Also in attendance were Southport Coastguard.
“Our thanks to all those involved in what has been a busy few days.”
People are being urged to support Southport Lifeboat, which relies on donations to keep operating.
The charity is not part of the RNLI and raises money locally to save lives in the Southport area.
During this time their main source of income, the Southport Lifeboat charity shop on Everton Road in Birkdale, is closed. There are other ways you can help the charity continue to save lives, including LifeboatLotto or online donations.
