The 2023 Southport Spring Flower Show takes place this weekend with a special royal theme.
‘Fit For A King’ takes place at Marble Place shopping centre on Chapel Street in Southport town centre this Saturday (1st April 2023) between 10am and 5pm and this Sunday (2nd April 2023) between 10am and 4.30pm.
Admission is free.
The popular annual event is organised by the Southport Chrysanthemum and Gardening Society.
Trophies will be awarded and a raffle will be available with numerous prizes, with the raffle draw taking place on Sunday from 4pm.
Judges will be:
Daffodils – I.Tyler
Pot plants and miscellaneous – B.Houghton
Floral art – A.Hinde
Craft – C.Tinsley
Photography- J.Foster
There will be lots of daffodils on display, along with pot plants, floral art, cokery, craft, photography and more.
Staging times for all exhibits will take place at Marble Place shopping centre on Friday 31st March between 6pm and 9.30pm.
