From The Block Fitness in Southport is inviting everyone to its Open Day this May – to celebrate the official opening of its brand new members’ gym.
The independent gym and personal training space was opened by Personal Trainer Lisa Little in October 2020 at The Waterfront in Southport, next to Bliss Hotel.
Its surging popularity among local people has led to an exciting expansion of its facilities.
The event will be a chance for people to head down, have a look around, chat with Lisa and see what’s on offer at From The Block Fitness.
Visitors can also enjoy free classes and pop-ups.
Lisa Little said: “Have you heard the news?
“On Saturday 7th of May we are holding an Open Day event from 8am to 2pm to mark the launch of our newly opened and fully equipped members’ gym, and you’re invited!
“There will be FREE classes at 8am, 10am and 12pm. Pop ups, coffee, and tours of the gym.
“Please make sure you book onto the free classes. Just send us a DM with your preferred time and we will reserve a spot for you.”

Pop ups from local businesses include:
Vitality:
A private health insurer that provides individuals with an exciting, personalised wellness journey that rewards daily engagement and creates long-term behaviour change.
Vacient:
A popular make-up brand, that offers a complete lifestyle beauty solution and is suitable for wearing to the gym, in the sun, while dancing, doing sports and working.
Your Facialist:
A well-known and well-loved local level 4 skincare specialist. Providing advanced facial treatments and skincare advice
Geoffrey Aesthetics:
An advanced aesthetics clinic based right in the gym itself, so you can pop in any time!
Evolv Nutrition:
Nutritional supplements designed to empower and fuel women.

Visitors at From The Block Fitness can now enjoy a fully equipped members gym and chill area, where people can take their time and stay as long as they want.
The facility offers a variety of support including personal training, group training, circuit training and more – all at great value for money and without the big sell for long contracts that some larger gyms are so keen to tie people into.
Lisa said: “I offer pay as you go, and that will remain a very big part of my business.
“I truly believe I have created a welcoming environment where people who for whatever reason do not feel confident or comfortable in a gym, feel safe and happy and more importantly are falling in love with fitness and themselves.
“From the Block fitness is a cool, unique, friendly and non judgemental space. We are open to absolutely anyone of any level of fitness. We have welcomed clients of all ages, from 17 to 83!”
