Warbreck Garden Centre

An independent, family-run garden centre is now back open after the Government relaxed its coronavirus restrictions and allowed some businesses to welcome customers once again.

Warbreck Garden Centre, on Lyelake Lane in Ormskirk, had been among firms ordered to close at the outset of the pandemic in the UK in March.

But they are delighted to be back open once again, although with very strict social distancing and other safety measures in place.

The business specialises home and garden products.

Richard Allison from Warbreck Garden Centre said: “We anticipate opening between 11am and 4pm to allow us to fully brief the team, with normal opening hours resuming by the weekend.

“We will manage our customer numbers to a safe limit for our site size and two people per household only.

“We will sanitise our trolleys after each use, provide sanitizing gel for customer use, floor markings reminding customers of the two metre distancing and will keep our restroom facilities closed for the time being.

“We have also installed screens at our tills with queue control measures in place.

“We are confident that our visitors will feel safe and comfortable and be thoroughly inspired by recent developments at the garden centre.

“Our team can’t wait to delight our customers once again.

“Our webshop, which has proved to be very popular, will continue offering a local delivery service and contactless click and collect at www.warbreck.co.uk .

“We now deliver to Southport, Formby and Crosby as well as Maghull, Ormskirk, Burscough and out to St Helens.

“We have a fantastic selection of plants and we also have great prices on our extensive garden furniture ranges, stunning gifts and homewares. All the inspiration you need is under one roof!”
