Southport people say they are delighted to see the new Beales opening on Lord Street.
Hundreds of people queued outside the new department store last week as it opened its doors.
Formerly Broadbents & Boothroyds, a department store has been on the site for the past 132 years.
Shoppers have been enjoying a great mix of local businesses which have opened concessions including: Baby Love, Naked Peak, Lucy Lou’s Boutique, Plaza Cards, Miss Attire, Molloys Furnishers, In-Time and others, in addition to well-known national and international brands including: Forever New, Jack & Jones, Craghoppers, Carabou, Shuropody, and many more.
The new Remedy at Beales cafe is due to open on the ground floor in the next few days.
Shoppers have been enjoying walking in to look around the three floors of retail, with ladies and mens fashions, furniture, electrical goods, bedroom furnishings, shoes, accessories, gifts, greetings cards, baby clothes, and much more besides, following an £800,000 investment and the creation of 40 new jobs.
