A photography firm in Southport has raised hundreds of pounds for our local hospitals during the Coronavirus crisis.
And now Yaffe Photography, which is based on Portland Street in Southport town centre, is urging others to donate too.
Adam Yaffe and Sandra Carney said: “Critical care nurses, doctors and all NHS staff at Southport & Ormskirk NHS hospitals are working tirelessly and relentlessly in the face of danger every day.
“They are saving our lives and of the bravest people out there today helping to fight the virus.
“We all know how hard it is for everyone to manage at this time and so we are asking everyone to make a donation to buy essential items for our NHS heroes.

“This money can be used to support these key workers, the essential people needed on the front line to fight this war against Coronavirus.
“Please donate any money you can, from £1 upwards.”
All money raised will go to the Southport & Ormskirk NHS Hospitals Trust Charitable Fund.
So far supporters have raised over £1,230.
Adam and Sandra said: “We are saddened beyond words at what is happening before our very eyes. Everything we know is changing and people around us are dying. We are experiencing a tragedy that will be remembered for generations.
“Right now, our front line soldiers of this war are the heroes of the NHS. Doctors and nurses and working flat out and in difficult conditions. Whilst we are locked in our homes, we watch in tears at the awful conditions these people are having to face, and we know it’s going to get worse.

“Right now, we can help to make the lives of our NHS workers that little bit easier. We are asking all of you to make a donation, no matter how small, to go straight to these people, the people who we will count on to save our lives should we become seriously ill too.
“This money will be donated directly to the Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust, the hospitals that are there for us and our immediate localities. They need it, desperately. They are underfunded and without the resources they need. This money can even be used to provide the staff with basic necessities such as drinks and snacks to keep them going.
“Our NHS staff are the pride of Britain. They are the very foundations of our defence against the raging Coronavirus pandemic.”
