Molloys Furnishers paid partnership
Molloys Furnishers has unveiled a brand new look for its store in Southport, as the family-owned firm moves into its FOURTH generation of ownership.
Molloys Furnishers is one of the longest-established local businesses not just in Southport but also in the North West.
It has been an established furniture supplier since 1932.
Originally the first furniture shop was opened in Southport and expanded to Lytham to allow them to cover more of the North West.
Their Southport store is at 6 St James Street, close to the Eastbank Street / Scarisbrick New Road roundabout, with free parking outside and free local delivery available.
This month they have worked hard to modernise their Southport store front, with customers enjoying its fresh new look.
Molloys Furnishers is now owned by Chris and Pete Molloy, supported by their brother Stu.
They took over in October from their Dad, Tony, and their Uncle, Stephen, who had been running the firm for the past half century.
There are two stores side by side in Southport; Molloys Furnishers and Recline by Molloys, where you can sit back and try some of the comfiest chairs around.
They have a huge base of loyal customers who, like them, often go back through the generations.
As well as improving families’ homes, they also work with care homes, businesses and schools in the region, and are happy to speak with people about their furnishing needs.
There are many reasons for the firm’s longevity and ongoing success.
