A vintage lover in Scarisbrick is due to star in a popular BBC1 TV show today (Monday, 25th September 2023).
Jacinta Price, the owner / creator at Happy Hyacinth, will appear in The Bidding Room at 3.45pm.
She runs Happy Hyacinth, an independent home based business working from a stable block in Scarisbrick, near Southport, in rural West Lancashire.
Jacinta said: “Do you remember this photo? Possibly not as it’s from August 2021 when me and Mr Happy Hyacinth had a fun day out to a secret location filming for a TV programme.
“Well I can now tell you it was The Bidding Room and I’ve been told, by the production company, it’s finally getting aired today, Monday 25th September on BBC1 at 3.45pm.
“I’m hoping I didn’t only make it to the cutting room floor!!
“So if you fancy the possibility of seeing a rather shy, nervous, star struck and stammering vintage seller in a green jumper trying to sell a room full of experts a slightly tired Scandi room divider tune in today. What do you think? Did anyone buy it?
“And straight afterwards is the new 4 week series The Vintage French Farmhouse starring Jo Roberts which sounds absolutely fabulous.
“My products are an eclectic mix of vintage, antiques, vintage crafts and upcycling. I sell mainly through an international Etsy shop and by attending local Vintage and Antique markets. I have a Facebook and Instagram page and post / sell on these daily.
“I am a vintage lover and an eternal thrifter. I like to rescue and relove lost and forgotten things!!
“I try to be as environmentally conscious as possible by reusing and recycling at every opportunity, in my life and business.
“I believe that buying vintage is kind to the earth, it is environmentally friendly and a much more sustainable way of shopping. As well as being cool too!!”
