Tom the Frenchie is coming to the Joll-yesween Day at Jollyes pet store in Southport on Saturday, 29th October, along with the Little Legs Dogs Rehoming charity

Does your pet look as cute in a Halloween costume as Tom the French Bulldog…?

Animal lovers are invited to bring your pet down to Jollyes pet store at Kew Retail Park in Southport this Saturday (29th October 2022) where they are hosting their first ever Joll-yesween Day!

Whoever wins the Halloween fancy dress competition will win a Jollyes pet hamper.

Tom will be at the event along with the local Little Legs Dogs Rehoming charity.

Little Legs Dogs Rehoming ‘Chief Dog Walker’ Christina Mather-Bateman said: “Myself and my daughter Florence are coming down on Saturday.

“We will be bringing Tom the French Bulldog who is back looking for his forever home after his initial adoption has sadly not worked out.

“We will also be bringing a couple of other dogs but not sure which ones yet as some are poorly and others better behaved.

“We are totally self funded so we have to generate all our own money for vets bills, food, cleaning, emergencies etc. our vet bill alone last month was almost £4,000.

“We have a permanent donation link on our website www.little-legs.org and also an Amazon wish list https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/2SNYLT3AAJ00N?ref_=wl_share

“The best way to support us after donating is by sharing our posts and helping to get the dogs adopted – it is harder than ever to place dogs right now with the worry over money and finances.”

Jollyes pet store in Southport is inviting people to call in for some spook-tacular fun this Saturday from 9am onwards.

People are invited to bring their pets along dressed in their best Halloween fancy dress costumes. The winner will be able to take home a Halloween hamper filled with Jollyes pet food, pet treats and other goodies.

Christina Mather-Bateman said: “We LOVE Jollyes and all the staff there.

“They have supported us since they opened and are always so helpful and generous.

“They regularly pass us dog food which has been donated by customers and always invite us to their special events which in turn helps increase our visibility and awareness of our little home rescue.”

Jollyes Southport Store Manager Martin Pitt said:

“We are looking forward to Halloween and would love to see pet lovers join us at our Jollyes store in Southport this Saturday!

“We are really keen to let people know that Jollyes is here in Southport.

“We offer a huge range of goods including pet food and pet accessories for a variety of different animals at great value, all under one roof.”
