The Milk Room in Southport is saying farewell to customers after seven years of serving some of the finest desserts in the town.
The popular venue, at 191 Liverpool Road in Birkdale, will serve people for the final time this Sunday (4th December 2023).
In a statement they said: “A final goodbye.
“After seven amazing years in business we have made the decision to close The Milk Room.
“As a local family run business this hasn’t been an easy decision to make but the timing is right for us
“The Milk Room opened in 2017 with a vision to give Southport a dessert bar that catered for everyone, and we are so proud to have achieved that over the last seven years!
“We’d like to express our gratitude to all our amazing customers, especially our regulars who we will miss greatly and our fantastic Milk Room team who have made all of this possible!
“Please join us throughout the week for all your milkroom treats, our final opening day is Sunday 4th December!
“It’s been an incredible journey and the end of an era for us!”
On their Facebook page, Kirsty pennington said: “Oh no we love coming to you- all the best with whatever is next.”
Amanda Hollie Gilchrist said: “So sad you are closing – I’ve only had some of your milkshakes & waffles. And they are amazing. I just hope the shop doesn’t remain empty!”
