The Engine Room Café at Wayfarers Arcade in Southport returns this week.
The café and co-working space, situated on the first floor of the arcade, on Lord Street, reopens from this Tuesday (2nd December 2025).
An Engine Room spokesperson said: “From Tuesday, we’re open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 3pm, offering a quiet haven for good coffee, gentle making, shared work , and unhurried conversation.
“We’re inviting a handful of community groups and clubs to make use of our free meeting tables during opening hours.
“We’re especially keen to welcome groups that value calm, creativity, and community.
“If that’s you, please get in touch, and then come by for a face-to-face chat from Tuesday onward.
“And of course, if you simply want somewhere peaceful to read, think, or enjoy a brew… we’ll be here.”
The Engine Room is a co-working and events space at Wayfarers Arcade.
The arcade is home to some unique local independent shops, art galleries, a barbers, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, a tattoo artist and the Pudding & Pie café.
