The venue has won several awards since it opened, including the Merseyside CAMRA Pub Of The Year in 2017.
Tap and Bottles is among 20 local venues taking part in Southport Beer Week, which is organised by Southport BID.

Julian Burgess said: “I’m really looking forward to the first ever Southport Beer Week.
“We’ve got lots happening over the four days of the event that people will love!
“On Thursday night, come down and meet the brew, Colbier, from Bootle. Come and try some of their beers, and hear their brewer talk about what they do.
“On Friday Bedford 45 will be playing vinyl from around 6pm onwards with some great tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s, it will be a great atmosphere.
“On Saturday from 3pm we are doing our Saturday Run Club! I will be running alongside Neil Walsh from The Windmill and Owen Fowler from the Masons Arms.
“We will be running between all three of our pubs on a 5k run, finishing at the Tap and Bottles for a beer or two.
“It’s a bit like a Parkrun but this is a Pub Run!
“On Saturday Rivington Brew Co. will be doing a Tap takeover with some of their beers.
“On Sunday you can call in and enjoy traditional pub games all day. It’s going to be very family friendly.
“We’ll have games such as bar skittles, table skittle, indoor petanque and more.
“People can win prizes, donated by Fell Brewery, along with some of their beers on.”
Julian is looking forward to the first Southport Beer Week.
He said: “Southport is a real beer destination! We have some fantastic venues which are great cask ale pubs, good beer pubs, with lots of choice and lots going on.
“We need to celebrate them more, and encourage people both in Southport and around the region to come and explore what we have.
“I love the idea of the Southport Ale Trail, where people can put together their own trail, get seven stamps in seven pubs and then be in with a chance of winning £250 to spend in a Southport town centre business. I’m looking forward to seeing the real ale trails that people come up with.
“People will be able to visit some of their favourite places, as well as trying some pubs and bars they’ve maybe never tried before which is great.
“Hopefully we can make Southport a real beer destination this week! There’s so much going on for people to enjoy.
“It’s great getting involved with other landlords in the town. It’s been great to catch up with them all.”
