We’re going back in time to May 1982 in Southport once again, to take a look at how much our town has changed, how much of it has stayed the same  – and to see whether you recognise any of the faces in the pictures!

This beautiful park still boasts the same cafe now as it did back then! 

It’s still a popular place for people of all generations to go and play or relax.

Southport Crown Post Office in the background was open in those days and the bus stops look very different!
