A brand new restaurant will open early this year at Rotten Row in Southport.

Penelope’s will welcome customers at the site of the former Ho Lee Chow venue on the edge of Victoria Park, home of Southport Flower Show.

The firm’s Facebook page says it’s “ready to re-imagine Rotten Row”.

Penelope’s will be the third venue created by the owners of Emily’s Formby and The Brunch and Cocktail Club.

Known for their classic brunch items and cocktails, Penelope’s will offer more of what guests have come to love.

Penelope’s will also launch with an open-fire grill and pizza oven to provide a more extensive evening menu.

The new venue on Rotten Row will boast a similar aesthetic to its sister sites, keeping with botanical themes.

An opening date has not yet been released, although the firm is aiming for ‘early 2024’.
