Southport FC has revealed its new shirt sponsors for the 2020/21 season.

Award-winning business advisers and chartered accountants, Wilson Henry LLP, have been working across Merseyside and Cheshire for 50 years, helping a range of businesses to grow and develop.

Peter Alcock, business development partner for the Liverpool-based firm, said: “The partners at Wilson Henry have a long association with the area both on a business and personal level.

“We believe it’s important local business supports grass roots football at a time when community involvement is crucial to a sustainable model at lower league level.

“Post Covid-19 football at all levels is facing challenging times, but particularly so at this level.  “We are delighted to play our part in the future success of Southport FC.

“We look forward to seeing the Sandgrounders pushing for promotion in 2021 – good luck to everyone associated with the club!”

Club Secretary James Tedford said: “Our 2019-20 shirt sponsors Your Claim see their commercial commitments elsewhere but Wilson Henry have jumped at the opportunity to have their name on the front of the famous old gold shirt.

“We are very pleased to have them on board and look forward to working with them.”

The club will keep the same home shirt design from last season for the next campaign.
