The flying times have been revealed for this weekend’s Southport Air Show

You can see exciting displays of aircraft flying above Southport Beach including the world famous RAF Red Arrows, The Starling, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers and more this Saturday and Sunday (29th and 30th August 2026).

Cllr Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Skills and Employment, said: 

Southport Air Show is a major highlight in Sefton’s events calendar, bringing families, aviation enthusiasts and visitors together for a brilliant weekend by the sea.

“As well as the spectacular displays in the skies, there will be plenty happening on the ground too, making it a fantastic day out for people of all ages.

“Events like this play a really important role in attracting visitors, supporting local businesses and showcasing everything Southport has to offer.”

Southport Air Show is renowned for its unique coastal setting, with aircraft performing above the resort’s expansive beach and promenade, giving visitors exceptional views of the displays.

Visitors are encouraged to book early, plan their journey in advance and keep an eye on official Southport Air Show channels for the latest updates.
