Queenscourt Hospice is delighted to announce that Silcock Leisure Group is once again a sponsor for this year’s Southport Santa Sprint, the annual 3K and 5K festive fun run raising funds for Queenscourt Hospice.
This year’s event, on Sunday, 7th December 2025, marks the 16th year of Silcock’s long-standing support for the fundraiser.
Santa Sprint is more than just a run (or walk) as it turns Southport’s coastline into a sea of red, as families, friends and neighbours don Santa suits and come together in festive spirit to raise vital funds for local hospice care. Participants of all ages (and even pets) are welcome, with both 3K and 5K options starting and finishing at Silcock’s Funland.

What’s included for entrants: Santa suit, finishers medal, free hot drink, a free ride on the iconic Silcock’s Carousel, a game of crazy golf at Masters Putting Green and complimentary coffee and cake at The Grand

About Southport Santa Sprint
Santa Sprint is an annual 3K & 5K festive fundraiser for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport, which is open to participants of all ages and abilities. The route begins and ends at Silcock’s Funland on the Promenade in Southport and has become a beloved seasonal tradition in the community. The event has helped raise over £157,000 over the years.
