Businesses who drive positive change in the community in Sefton will be celebrated at the Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards.
In Demand Radio has today launched the search for the 2026 Sefton Business In The Community Awards winner.
Three Finalists will be invited to collect awards at the glittering Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards at The Grand in Southport on Friday 24th April 2025.
The winner will also receive a further boost, with a free advertising package through in Demand Radio worth £3,000 which includes production costs for the advert and airtime.
The awards are once again hosted by In Demand Radio Presenter Claire Simmo with 13 categories available, each sponsored by a local business.

Firms across Sefton have an enviable record of being a force for good for local people – now we’d like you to help us to celebrate them.

Last year’s winner was EFT Group which had a busy year – including helping to bring Santa back to Southport!
With deep-rooted family values and a selfless approach to giving back, EFT Group has changed lives in ways both big and small.
EFT answered the call by Southport Hesketh Round Table to build a new Santa Sleigh, to travel the streets of Southport bringing festive cheer to thousands of families.

The firm sponsored Southport’s Niall Brannigan and his team aboard SeaSoar, who rowed the Atlantic in aid of Lyme Disease UK, turning this daring mission into a reality.
EFT raised huge funds for Ty Gobaith House Children’s Hospice, ensuring that children received Christmas presents and the joy they deserve.
EFT’s CEO Adam Watts stepped up to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice by training hard and competing in Strictly Come Dancing – and then organised an EFT Strictly event to raise further funds for the hospice.
Their staff have taken on extraordinary challenges like the Ben Nevis trek, skydives and the Liverpool Half Marathon, all in support of local causes that make a real difference.

A Finalist last year was Bumbles Nursery.
Bumbles Nursery in Maghull led a community initiative to raise funds for a defibrillator outside the nursery.
The Nursery hosted a special Summer Event, which raised £1287 and raised awareness.
Children and staff also took part in a sponsored walk to support Zoe’s Place, raising over £5,000.
The second Finalist in 2025 was The Bus Yard.
The Bus Yard at Crosby Marina turned a vacant space into a bustling hub for food, drink, and social experiences.

They organise regular litter picks to keep the beach clean.
They partnered with the new Salt and Tar events space in Bootle, contributing to a successful year of major concerts that have drawn thousands of visitors to the area and put Bootle on the map for positive reasons.
