People will love the next Sandgrounders Business Club event in Southport – after it was moved to avoid clashing with Valentine’s Day.
Organisers moved the date of the popular networking gathering from Wednesday, 14th February to Thursday, 15th February 2024 so attendees could put pleasure before work.
The next meeting will be one that people won’t want to miss, with the chance to meet like-minded business people in and around the Southport area at the Big Help Stadium, home of Southport Football Club.
The evening begins at 5pm with two great speakers appearing from 6pm.

The sponsor speaker will be Sarah Blaney, Director of Werksy, Southport’s first ever co-working space. The guest speaker is Geoff Molyneux from Shout Connect.

The informal Sandgrounders Business Club gathering is open to businesses in the Southport area and beyond.
Visitors are welcome to drop in and stay and network, or chat with other local business people, for as long or as little as they like.
Unlike other networking groups, there are no contracts involved, no fees and no restrictions on numbers of people in each profession.
Each month sees two guest speakers invited to give short talks to guests – one a sponsored speaker, the other a community / local interest speaker.
The sponsored speaker spot costs just £75.
The Sandgrounders Business Club is organised by Southport Football Club, Birkdale Insurance Group, Midgley Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and Stand Up For Southport and usually takes place on the second Wednesday of every month.
