The Pudding & Pie cafe in Wayfarers Shopping Arcade is launching its brand new Breakfast Menu this Saturday (23rd November 2024).
New Manager Dave Gomery is looking forward to customers coming in to try the delicious new choices on the menu, which include Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale and some delicious tweaks to the Pudding & Pie Full English Breakfast which will now include freshly-made links sausages and black pudding.
The Pudding & Pie team is all ready for a busy Saturday, which will see the huge Festive Fun Day, with appearances from Lemar, Toploader, Gemma Collins, 14 local dance schools and more right outside the arcade.
Inside Wayfarers Arcade, visitors will be able to enjoy Santa’s Grotto (11.30am and 2pm) and A Heritage Holiday Fete (midday onwards).
Dave said: “I am really excited to be here at Pudding & Pie, working with the team to bring some exciting new changes that we know our customers will love.
“We can’t wait to launch our new Breakfast Menu this Saturday, on the same day as the Southport Festive Fun Day and everything happening inside the arcade.
“It’s going to be a very busy day! Why not start it right with a great breakfast, and try some of our new dishes on the menu.
“We are really proud of our new Pudding & Pie Full English Breakfast. We’re really improving the quality of the ingredients, so it will now include improved Lincolnshire sausages, good quality bacon, black pudding and more.
“We will have new dishes on the Breakfast menu too such as Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale.
“It’s all about using the very best quality ingredients we can.
“We will also be open later, after 5pm, for anyone who would like to come and join us for a bit to eat or a warming hot drink and some tasty cake.
“We’ve just launched a new Pudding and Pie Southport Facebook page too. For anyone who would like to keep up to date with what we’re doing and what we’re offering, please give our page a Like!”
Dave is enjoying introducing some changes at Pudding & Pie based on his years of experience.
He said: “I have a long history of working in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years.
“When this opportunity came up, it was something a little different, and I am enjoying getting started.
“It has lots going for it; it’s set in a beautiful location, the arcade is stunning.
“It’s a fantastic place to sit and enjoy something to eat and drink.
“We’re going to be open later in the evening on Thursday 5th December and Thursday 12th December, so people doing their late night Christmas shopping in town can call in.
“We are keen to launch a new menu in Spring.
“And we are in the process of applying for an alcohol licence, so diners can enjoy a glass of wine or a glass of beer with their food.
“Having an alcohol licence will allow us to organise some more events too.
“This Saturday is going to be a superb day for Southport. It’s brilliant having the Festive Fun Day right outside, and so much happening inside Wayfarers Arcade too.
“It’s going to be a great few weeks for people to come and have a look inside Wayfarers Arcade, with Santa’s Grotto here, Craft & Gift Fairs taking place, and other events too.”
