Southport Pleasureland CEO Norman Wallis

Do you know a child in Sefton who deserves to be celebrated for showing remarkable courage?

We’d love you to nominate them for a Child of Courage Award, sponsored by Southport Pleasureland, in this year’s Pride Of Sefton Awards.

We are searching for nominees who have shown immense courage in the face of adversity. Courage comes in different shapes – is it a child who has battled illness, performed an act of bravery or done something truly remarkable while up against the odds?

Please email your nominations to: standupforsouthport@gmail.com or visit: prideofseftonawards.co.uk

Southport Pleasureland is the perfect sponsor for this award, having been dedicated to family entertainment since it first opened its gates 110 years ago.

As a park built on family values and with a sixth-generation showman as its CEO, there was really only one choice of award category to sponsor for 2023, and that is The Pride of Sefton’s  Child of Courage.

Last year Southport Pleasureland began a relationship with Alder Hey Children’s Charity, supporting the hospital’s work through fundraising events and inviting visitors to add a small donation when booking Park tickets online. It was one of many family-focused causes the business has supported.

Southport Pleasureland CEO Norman Wallis said:

“The hospital the charity supports is a world centre of excellence and those in the Liverpool City Region are proud to call an outstanding specialist facility of this calibre ‘neighbour’.

“It is through this relationship and others like it that we, as a sponsoring business, have learned more and more of the courage of children and their families in some of their darkest times – and it is humbling.

“Our business is to provide happy experiences and space for children and families to relax, have fun and enjoy themselves. We happen to believe there’s no better business to be in.”

In this awesome design of things you actually secure an A with regard to effort. Where you actually confused me was first in all the facts. As it is said, details make or break the argument.. And it could not be much more accurate here. Having said that, allow me inform you what exactly did deliver the results. The article (parts of it) is definitely highly powerful and that is probably why I am making the effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. 2nd, even though I can easily notice the jumps in logic you come up with, I am not sure of how you seem to unite your ideas which in turn make the actual conclusion. For now I will, no doubt subscribe to your issue however trust in the future you actually link the dots better.

I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net.
