Would you like to help to improve our local community?

Volunteer Centre Sefton is working with Stand Up for Southport to provide a monthly update on volunteering across the Southport and Formby area.

Here are some of the organisations seeking Trustee roles this month with details about how you can apply.

Trustees’ Week, taking place from November 6th to 10th November 2023, serves as a powerful reminder of the pivotal role trustees play in the governance and management of charitable organisations across Sefton.

Becoming a trustee is an opportunity to make a tangible and lasting impact on the local community. As a trustee, you have the chance to champion causes that matter most to you, whether it’s supporting vulnerable people, promoting education, preserving local heritage, or addressing environmental concerns, trustees are entrusted with the responsibility of guiding non-profit organisations toward their objectives.

By becoming a trustee, you become a custodian of change, with the power to shape policies, drive initiatives, and foster collaboration in Sefton’s VCF sector.

Trusteeship is also an opportunity for personal growth and professional development. It enables you to enhance your leadership skills, network with like-minded individuals, and gain valuable insights into the complexities of governance. Your involvement as a trustee can leave a lasting legacy, promoting positive change for Sefton and its residents for years to come.

Here are some of the latest trustee roles in Sefton:
