Pontins in Southport is advertising a number of jobs, offering workers to join “one of the most iconic holiday brands in the UK”.
Owners Britannia requires employees to “provide our guests with an exceptional holiday with memories that last a lifetime”.
There are a number of roles available, including: Operations Manager, Catering Manager, Bar / Catering Assistants, Cleaners, Shop Manager, Receptionist, Leisure Attendant and Retail Assistant.
Pontins Southport is situated on Shore Road in Ainsdale, next to Southport Beach.

The roles come with discounted stays for employees and their families at any of the six Pontins parks in the country.

Operations Manager
Britannia is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to take over the running of the “multi-complex unit.”
A job listing says the opportunity has presented itself, due to Pontin’s “continued investment and growth”.
The holiday park offers a number of on-site bars and restaurants, as well as featuring a shop, arcade, and children’s amusement activities.
The ideal candidate will have “previous experience managing a multi-complex unit with knowledge of food and beverage, housekeeping, arcade, entertainment and children’s amusement activities”.
Excellent attention to detail and superb leadership skills are also said to be essential for this full-time role.
Catering Manager
An “experienced” catering manager is required to head up the entire catering operation at the Shore Road holiday park.
The listing describes Pontins as an “exciting, fast-paced environment, ensuring that our holiday homes are presented to the highest quality to create the ‘home from home’ experience our guests have grown to expect”.
Part of the job includes “attracting and recruiting the very best team members” and ensuring staff are “consistently reviewed and motivated to achieve impeccable service”.
Management experience is essential, while a holiday park background is said to be desirable for this full-time role.
Bar / Catering Assistants
Britannia is currently hiring bar assistants and catering assistants for Pontins in Ainsdale.
Bar assistants are required to serve drinks to all guests, while catering assistants will serve food.
Both jobs should be conducted in a “professional and friendly manner”.
The roles, which are zero hour contracts, also include being responsible for the “general tidiness of the bar and restaurant facilities”.
Ideal candidates will be organised, punctual and well presented, with excellent communication skills and customer service.

Cleaners
Various cleaning roles are currently on offer at Pontins to ensure rooms and surroundings are “impeccably tidy” for all guests.
The positions include apartment cleaner, accommodation cleaner, and venue cleaner.
Listings say the “energetic and busy” park works continuously to make sure guests feel “comfortable and relaxed”.
The venue cleaner role, which is on a zero hour contract, includes cleaning corridors and stairs, all ground floor public rooms and offices, and the main building.
The other cleaning roles are listed as “seasonal”.
Other Roles
Other roles currently being advertised include shop manager, receptionist, leisure attendant and retail assistant.
Britannia’s recruitment site does not list any specific pay grades, however each of the job listings offers an “attractive salary”.
Each also comes with up to 28 days holiday including bank holidays per annum, and “accelerated promotional prospects”.
