A Southport fishmonger has revealed a list of delicious treats he has available for families over the Christmas and New Year period, to provide that real ‘wow factor’ for guests.
Kevin Peet, owner of Peets Plaice in Churchtown, has lots of fresh, cooked and frozen specials available both in his shop, and also available for home delivery using his peetsplaice.co.uk website.
He is already getting busy with orders for families looking forward to enjoying the festive season and is looking forward to welcoming people to his shop on Cambridge Road, near Churchtown Lights, over the next couple of weeks.
He said: “Lots of people go traditional and serve turkey for their main course on Christmas Day, but fish and seafood has that real wow factor whether it’s served as a starter, as a main course, as a platter, or as snacks for your guests.
“We have a huge selection for people to choose from that is easy and hassle free to prepare and is also great value.”
Peets Plaice will be selling special festive seafood including:

Peets Plaice is always busy in the run-up to Christmas and has some increased opening times over the next two weeks including:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Christmas Eve 8am to 1pm
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 27th December closed
28th, 29th and 30th December open 8am to 4pm
New Year’s Eve 8am to 1pm
New Year’s Day closed
