The Oxfam shop in Southport town centre is closing after 63 years.

In a statement Oxfam said: “We would like to thank all staff, customers, and volunteers over the past 63 years for supporting Oxfam Southport.

“Unfortunately we will be unable to accept donations after 11th November 2026.

“Please do not leave any donations at our door after this date.”

Commenting on Facebook, Becky McWilliams-Guinness said; “Oh how sad. I loved my time volunteering and managing this shop.”
