Christmas Markets are coming to Southport this December!
Market Street, which was pedestrianised last year, will host 25 outdoor festive stalls hosting local independent traders on a variety of dates throughout December.
This brand new event is run by Independent Street, which operates the successful monthly Southport Artisan Market inside Southport Market and on Market Street on the first Saturday of every month.
Their next Artisan Market is this Saturday (7th November 2026) – and then they’re getting ready for the festive season!
Independent Street founder Lisa Cowley said:

“This December, Market Street will be transformed into a festive wonderland, with 25 outdoor Christmas market stalls bringing you everything you need to get into the festive spirit!

“Christmas Markets will take place on Market Street, in Southport on: 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th December 2026.
