Southport Market paid partnership
With the clocks gone back last weekend and the nights getting darker, Comedy Bingo Winter Socials return to Southport Market this week to brighten the day!
The popular fortnightly attraction resumed for a new season of events a fortnight ago and returns this Wednesday (4th November 2026), in association with Belong Birkdale.
Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30pm start, continuing until 3pm / 3.30pm.
Admission is just £4 per person, which includes a free hot or cold drink and all your bingo books.
You can pay on the door, or you can buy your tickets in advance via the Skiddle website: Tickets: Comedy Bingo Winter Social @ Southport Market | Southport Market Southport Wed 04 November 2026
Comedy Bingo Winter Socials are hosted by local comedian Brendan Riley, with great prizes to be won thanks to support from local businesses including KLS Law Solicitors, Tik Taco, Vue Cinema in Southport, Silcock’s Funland, Portovino, and the Southport Flower Show and others.
If you would like to offer prizes please email Brendan via: [email protected]
There are two Comedy Bingo Winter Socials to enjoy this November (4th and 18th) and then two Christmas Specials this December (2nd and 16th).
The sessions will continue until March next year.
This is the fourth year that Comedy Bingo Winter Socials have taken place at Southport Market.
They are all about bringing people together during these colder months, putting smiles on people’s faces and giving a warm welcome to anyone who fancies a fun afternoon out.
Kathryn Dee, General Manager at Belong Birkdale, said:
“We are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Comedy Bingo Winter Socials. Supporting communities and bringing people together is very much what Belong is all about, and so we’re pleased to assist in making this fantastic events programme happen for Sandgrounders.
“Our customers at sister Belong villages are looking forward to popping up to join the fun, and once Belong Birkdale opens later this year, we’ll be supporting our new residents and tenants to come along too.”
Comedy Bingo Director Brendan Riley said:
“It’s great to be back! There was a fantastic atmosphere at our first Comedy Bingo Winter Social of the new season during October, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back at Southport Market this Wednesday.
“It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, with lots of regulars returning – and lots of new faces too!
“If you’ve never tried Comedy Bingo before, come down and have a try – you’ll love it!
“We have a brand new sponsor on board with Belong Birkdale. We’re very grateful to them for supporting these events, which means that we can keep ticket prices as low as possible.
“We’re also grateful for our ongoing support from Sefton Council Tourism and the team at Southport Market.
“Admission is just £4 per person which includes a free hot or cold drink and all your bingo books. It’s a fabulous deal for a really fun afternoon out!
“All the market food and drink outlets will be open for anyone who fancies something to eat before, during or after the show.”
