BOS Musical Theatre Company are proud to present ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ in Southport – the sensational Andrew Lloyd Webber / Tim Rice show that has been entertaining and delighting audiences around the world for more than 50 years!
Opening night is this Saturday 20th May 2023 and the show runs through until Saturday 27th May 2023 at Southport Little Theatre on Hoghton Street in Southport.
‘Joseph’ is a musical extravaganza that follows the journey of Joseph, from favourite son to cast away brother, jailed and abandoned until his gift for interpreting dreams places him at Pharoah’s feet (literally!) and his route to fame & family reconciliation are finally revealed!
With a fantastic cast, including our own amazing children’s chorus, this is guaranteed to be one of those most memorable of shows. A real gem!
Craig Billington returns to BOS to play the lead role, alongside Heather Lewis as the ever-present Narrator. Their partnership and the way they play off each other really sets the tone. A mix of BOS regulars and fresh faces make up the Brothers/Wives and other parts throughout the show, bringing the energy and volume, together with some fabulous cameo moments. And we’re grateful that we’ve been gifted with a children’s chorus who just take everything up to another level – fantastic talent now and certain to be names to watch in the future!
Directing and leading ‘Joseph’ are Liz Clarke (Creative Director) and David Wall (Musical Director), with Steve Chesters setting the bar high with some inspired choreography. Liz, David and Steve have worked together on several other productions and are widely regarded as the Production ‘Dream Team’ within BOS.

Tickets for the three Saturday shows (opening night on the 20th plus the matinee and closing night on Saturday 27th) are already in high demand, so book now to avoid disappointment.
