Jollyes in Southport is today launching its Festive Pets competition - with a £50 Jollyes voucher for the winner

Jollyes in Southport is today launching its Festive Pets competition – with a £50 Jollyes voucher for the winner!

As we arrive in December, the popular pet retailer is looking for your cute pictures of your animals celebrating this special time of year.

It could be a spaniel in a Santa hat; a cat in a Christmas jumper; a rabbit wearing Rudolph ears.

Entering is easy! Just post your Festive Pets pictures into the Stand Up For Southport Facebook group or email them to: standupforsouthport@gmail.com by Sunday, 10th December 2023, alongside the name and any details about your pet, while tagging the Jollyes Southport Facebook page.

The winner will receive a £50 voucher to spend in store, so you can treat your pet and have a Holly Jolly-es Christmas.

Jollyes opened its site at Kew Retail Park in Southport on 2nd July last year.

Since then the spacious 6,000 square feet store has become a popular venue for local pet owners looking for pet food, treats, toys, bedding, and everything else you need.

The friendly Jollyes team are always on hand to offer any advice needed.

There is lots for shoppers to buy this Christmas, including pet Christmas sacks saying ‘Santa Paws Has Been’; Christmas dog jumpers; Christmas bandana dog collars; festive dog toys; even Christmas crackers for dogs.

There are reindeer dog toys; elf on rope dog toys; gonk plush dog toys; and many more.

Pets can also tuck into tins of special Christmas festive feast turkey dinner.

Jollyes this week delivered its strongest ever first half trading performance in the six months to 27 November, as it prepares to open its 100th store.

During the period, the pet retailer’s like-for-like sales rose 19% while total sales surged 31% to £70m.

The business opened eight new stores in the half year in Swindon, Belfast, Merthyr Tydfil, Harrogate, Widnes, Swadlincote, Reading and Hull.

It is now looking ahead to the launch of its 99th UK store in early March and its 100th later in the year.

During the first half of the year Jollyes also strengthened its customer Pet Club scheme by introducing new tiers, offering exclusive prices and more rewards.

Usual competition rules apply. Judge’s decision is final.
