Local business from the Financial & Professional sector are being invited to the next free event which is on Sustainable finance and navigating the green transition.
Run by InvestSefton, the Financial & Professional Network meets twice a year.
Taking place at the Lake House Waterloo on Wednesday 16th October, the event will feature guest speakers Rob Capleton from the University of Liverpool and Gary Adlen from Carbon Happy World.
Rob will be talking about why strategic sustainable planning should be an essential part of any business and the opportunities that can be created through sustainable practice. He will also cover what the Liverpool City Region is doing to support your path to Net Zero.
Gary will be talking about how to embrace sustainability an overcome any barriers. He will also talk about carbon accounting, how to reduce the carbon footprint of your business and understanding ESG regulations and compliance.
The event starts with free breakfast from 8am and finishes at 10am followed by networking and a business marketplace. Presentations and discussions are between 8.45am and 9.30am. It is open to Any financial or professional business based in Sefton such as accountants, solicitors, estate agents and surveyors.
